    WHAT TO WEAR ABOARD

    The Dress Standard

To preserve the easy elegance of the club, we ask guests to dress as they would at a yacht club — smart casual with a polished look.

    • Perfect: collared shirts and blouses · dress shorts or pants · jeans in good condition · summer dresses · lifestyle shoes
    • Shoes come off at the gangway — barefoot on deck is how she's sailed. Bring a light layer for the trip home
    • Not quite right for the deck: activewear and sports attire · hi-vis and workwear · swimwear worn as outerwear · overly revealing outfits · fancy dress (unless we've planned it together)
    • Beach Day charters: covered beachwear is the standard

Our crew may ask a guest to add a cover, or decline boarding, where the standard isn't met — no refund applies in that case, so when in doubt, dress up a notch: nobody has ever regretted looking good at golden hour.

    THE CLUB'S HOUSE RULES

    Code of Conduct

One rule sits above all others: the crew's word is final. They are responsible for your safety on the water, and their directions must be followed immediately.

    • Respect the vessel and each other. Aggressive, offensive or unsafe behaviour ends your evening — the crew may refuse boarding or remove any guest, without refund
    • Drink like you're at the club. We serve responsibly: 18+ only, ID may be requested, and service may be slowed or stopped at the crew's discretion. Guests who arrive intoxicated will not board
    • No BYO alcohol — the bar is licensed and pours at land prices. Anything brought aboard is held and returned at the gangway
    • No smoking or vaping aboard, except any exterior area the crew designates
    • Stay inside the rails. No sitting on rails or bow nets underway unless invited by crew; keep hands and drinks inboard during manoeuvres
    • Never jump. Entering the water happens one way only — a designated swim stop, with the crew's say-so and supervision. Jumping or diving from the vessel is an offence under maritime law: it ends the sailing without refund, and any fine or rescue-response cost is yours (on a private charter, the host's if you can't be identified)
    • Nothing illegal aboard. Illicit substances end the evening immediately, without refund, and police may be notified
    • One guest can end it for the group. If the Master has to end a sailing over someone's behaviour, no refund is payable to that guest or their party — and the Master's authority to keep everyone safe, including holding a person aboard until we berth or police attend, is final
    • Young adults 15–17 are welcome, supervised by an accompanying adult at all times; younger children by prior arrangement
    • Swim stops only. The water is wonderful — at designated stops, with the crew's say-so, sober, and never at night or under way
    • Leave at home: fireworks, sparklers, sky lanterns, candles and naked flames, confetti and glitter, drones (unless arranged), and pets (assistance animals welcome, notified ahead)
    • Bags may be checked. As a licensed venue, entry is subject to security conditions — crew or security may ask to look inside bags and eskies at the gangway. Decline is fine; boarding without the check isn't
    • Tell the crew before you step off. Any bump, slip or near-miss — report it before you disembark so we can help and record it properly
    • Look after your things — personal property is aboard at your own risk
    • Photos: we capture moments for the club's channels; tell us in writing before departure if you'd rather not appear

The point of every rule is the same: eighty people at golden hour, all having the best night on the coast, safely. Thank you for sailing like a member.
